由沁音大师亲自带队

The Qinway Qigong Institute is sponsoring a Spiritual Trip to China & Retreat during May 10-27, 2007. This will be a unique trip led directly by Grandmaster and Founder Qinyin, and it is a rare opportunity in America.

We will visit some of the most sacred Buddhist and Daoist mountains and temples in south China, including Founder Qinyin's hometown Hangzhou and places where she practiced. Our trips to China in 2002 and 2005 were an eye-opening experiences for American students, and significantly uplifted their body/mind/spirit and energy. Because of Grandmaster Qinyin's strong karma with these temples and spiritual places, participants often experience mysterious and unexpected "lucky" surprises and activities, even at seemingly regular temples!

Major sites of this trip include: "Heaven on Earth" Hangzhou, Mt. Tiantai, cultural city Linhai and Sacred Mt. Puto.

灵隐寺

This temple is the most famous in South China inscribed by an emperor. It was founded by an Indian monk over 1,600 years ago, when he saw spirits retreating in this area. It houses a gold-gilded Sakyamuni, which is the largest sitting Buddha statue in China.

飞来峰

The founding monk of the Spirits' Retreat Temple wondered "how did these rocks fly to here from Mt. Lingjiu in India where Buddha taught?". There are many Buddhist statutes carved out of it, making it an artistic treasure.

法喜寺

A unique ancient temple far from regular tourists!

虎跑泉与龙井

The founding monk of this temple got a signal from higher beings that two tigers would be sent to help find a spring. Tigers came, so did spring, which was later named "Tiger Spring". Together with Dragon Well Tea, they are known as "Two treasures of West Lake". Founder Qinyin will bring you to taste Tiger Spring by yourself.

雷锋塔

Originally built in 977 with many Buddist sutras carved on its bricks, it is one of the three places in China where Buddha Sakyamuni's holy relics is stored. A popular folklore has it that Lady White (protagonist of a romantic story) was suppressed under the pagoda.

净慈寺

Built in 954, was the founding place of Japanese Caodong School of Buddhism. It was the place where Jigong Buddha allegedly moved wood from a underground well in a rebuilding effort. It was also known by its giant bell over 10 tons inscribed with 68,000 words of the Lotus Sutra.

抱朴道院

The renowned Daoist sifu Baopuzi used to distill elixir here. There are still sites where he is said to have refined elixir.

黄龙洞

Surrounded by a Daoist atmosphere, it is said that Yellow Dragon Immortal used to practice here. It was only 5 minutes away from where Founder Qinyin used to live. During that time, Founder Qinyin came here every morning to practice and connect with mountain spirits. It is now a culture theme park with performance of local opera.

西湖

The beauty of West Lake has been tiredlessly praised by Chinese poets over and over. We will relax in an ancient boat afloat West Lake, visit one of its islands and "Three ponds reflecting the Moon".

宋城

Southern Song (1127-1279) was a culturally, economically and technologically advanced dynasty with its capital located in Hangzhou. It is widely considered the hallmark of the Chinese civilization. Song City is a giant Song Culture Theme Park, featuring almost all aspects of the Song society, its people, and lives.

天台山 - 佛教天台宗的发源地
国清寺

Situated in the scenic deep mountain of Tiantai, Guoqing Temple is the originating place of the Tiantai School of Buddhism, which spreaded to in Japan with a large following. It is one of the most complete temples in China. This thousand-year-old temple has an excellent Qi field, and was a favorite place of our 2005 Trip participants. We will participate in its morning chanting lesson, and a rare private lesson by Abbot.

天台山

We will visit the famous Rocky Waterfall, and ancient temples along the way.

文化古城临海

Linghai is the hometown of Founder Qinyin's maternal grandmother, who taught her meditation and much Buddhist
nutrition at three year old. The nearby Mt. Guachang is the hometown of Qinyin's fraternal grandfather, whose Daoist
book has influenced Qinyin deeply. Linghai is a cultural city with a history of over one thousand years.

江南长城

Extending for 6 km, it was built in almost the same style as the famous Great Wall near Beijing for a good reason - the Great Wall near Beijing was based on it.

紫阳道观: Linhai was the hometown of the renowned Daoist Purple Yang, whose book "Wu Truth" was a Doaist classic. According to historical record, Purple Yang had three disciples, but they all brought troubles to him. So he decided to write his book "Wu Truth" for future generations. After his ascension, his body produced over one thousand holy relices. We will visit the place with a strong qi field where he is believed to have ascended.

南海普陀山 (观音菩萨成道地)

Mt. Puto is one of China's four Buddhist holy mountains related to Quanyin Buddha. It has become a Buddhist
destination of pilgrimage for over 1,000 years. On this island, many temples were dedicated to Quanyin Buddha.
The blending of island scenes and Buddhist culture make Puto into a true "Buddhist Kingdom on Sea".

普济寺

The biggest temple on the St. Mt. Puto, surrounded by a big "let-go pond" in the front.

西天

Known for its exotic rocks and calligraphy, there are a few important sites along the way where Quanyin Buddha used to deliver sutra teachings.

潮音洞

Many pious people have reported seeing or connecting with Quanyin Buddha at this sacred site.

紫竹院

It is said that "Quanyin Buddha strolls in Purple Bamboo Forest". If so, then this nunnery must be her home!

不肯去观音院

Supposedly the first temple built on Puto island by the Japanese monk Hui Er on his way back to Japan.

南海观音

This 33-meter-high gold-plated bronze statue of Quanyin Buddha has been a landmark of St. Mt. Puto, since it was built and initiatd by many high level abbots and abbesses about a decade ago.

What to learn

At different sites, Founder Qinyin will offer relevant Buddhist and Daoist teachings and methods leading to the path of immortality and enlightenment. Depending on our karma, we will have opportunities to communicate with abbots or abbesses, and participate in their temple activities. And a lot more about the Chinese culture!

饮食

Tasty beautiful classic Chinese vegetarian meals and spiritual temple food.

住宿

First class guest rooms in temples, and upscale hotels.
