1. Qigong Student Feedback

* [1/26/02] After the Qigong retreat, my urine went from red (3 days) to yellow (3 days). (Andy, San Anselmo, CA) (note:detoxification through urination)

* [1/28/02] As of today I lost 13 pounds. Very unexpected and nice results. I think this Qigong program has great possibilities. Thanks! (Lorena, Sunnyvale, CA)

* [1/28/02] Hunger went away when I did the Qigong exercises. Sometimes I was very sleepy (note: another way of detox). Once while exercising, I experienced great joy and one time the image of the 1000 armed Buddha came to me. Thank you for your powerful Qigong healing system. (Charlene, Saratoga, CA)

* [2/15/02] Since attending Master Qinyin's Qigong retreat about 2 years ago, my hay fever has gotten much better, and I no longer catch cold easily. It also helps my periods to become much smoother. Qinway Qigong has improved my overall health significantly. (Laviania, Fremont, CA)

* [2/19/02] The Qinway Qigong practices are a way of getting in touch with the universal rhythm that finds expression in form.(Valery, Campbell, CA)

* [2/19/02] Overall, after the Qigong retreat I am feeling much more connected to qi energy, and relaxing and opening my body and energy channels...I am sometimes amazed how, as human beings we seperate ourselves out from the life force energies of the universe. I have had good response to Qigong Master Qinyin's signals at the 930 times...feeling that energy is entering and recharging my batteries. (Barry, San Francisco, CA)

* [2/19/02] I extremely enjoy the CDs and doing the Qigong exercises.  My favorite is the 930 adjustments, I feel that alone has made a tremendous difference.  I know each time I do the Qigong exercises I learn more and get more out of it, because I adjust more to the energy and use it for healing me. (Carol, Redwood City, CA)

2. Qigong Story #1: Stick and Chiding

At the Tang Dynasty, the Buddhist Lingji School used “stick and shouting” as a way to enlightenment. It is said that when Master Ma Zhu received his disciple Bai Zhang, he shouted at him so loudly that Bai’s ears hummed for three days. Later, when Master Huang Pi was teaching his disciple Lingji, he used a stick to knock on Lingji’s head. Three times Lingji asked “What is the essence of Buddhism”, and Master Huang Pi hit him three times. So Lingji had to retreat to himself and studied Buddhist classics in earnest. Ever since then, whenever people came to Master Huang to ask about Buddhism, he would just knock on them with a stick, while Lingji shouting at the side.

Note:
Lingji School is a renownd branch of Ch'an (Zen) Buddhism in China.

3. Qigong Story #2: Karmic Debt

Once upon a time, there was a Buddhist monk who practiced Buddhism so well that he almost reached enlightenment. But for a long time he wasn’t able to make the final step. He understood that he still had some karmic debts uncleared. So he wandered into a desert.

Suddenly a group of bandits appeared and wanted to kill him for no reason. He offered his head without hesitation. Because of his great accomplishment, every time his head was chopped off, it grew back quickly by itself. These bandits were frustrated. At last, the monk told them that there was some kind of blue grass on the other side of the hill. If they put that grass on his neck, they would be able to kill him. And they did.

The monk died, and his spirit ascended instantly as his final karmic debts were cleared.
